Wankers. Crowds at England games have definitely got worse over the last 10 years.
I've got no bother with people having a laugh, wearing fancy dress and getting pissed. But there's definitely a section who have zero interest in the cricket and are there as an excuse to get arseholed.
As posted on the other thread. Clubs needs to simply ban them in the future and become more stricter with dickhead behaviour. Yes it may hit them in the pocket at times but it will put genuine people off attending which would be a bigger hit financially.expand...
Don’t condone the behaviour but I wouldn’t mind if it didCould these scenes be repeated at “Hundred” games?

That seems to be same with football, people who do not even watch the game, just want to go and shout obscenities at people. But there's definitely a section who have zero interest in the cricket and are there as an excuse to get arseholed.
One of my mates daughters went on Wednesday as part of the Northumbria group and reckons they didn't even see the pitch, just stayed at the back of the stands getting pissed. Not sure I see the point but I'm in danger of sounding like one of the old crinkly 'tutting' members I used to despise in my youth so won't say any more![]()
Aye, I left after 14 overs of the Northants innings myself, although that was more down to the result being a foregone conclusion and the feeling it would be chaos getting out of the main cark park after not being able to park in the usual spot round by gate 5.when we left the game early, there was a good few 100 stood out the back.
those in the stands didn't pay much notice either
