I agree but I think @brandon mentioned it, why does he try and leather every ball, he could bat sensibly and make a real contribution to the total.

Cricket was bad. The Bullingdon super spreader event was even worse. Wandered round to get a beer from the Moxie truck to find you couldn’t access it as it was reserved for the students. They way it was coordinated I assumed they’d have all had lateral flow tests etc but who knows.
I’ll wander round with the mask on outside etc for the greater good but when you see that going on it makes a mockery of it all.

A disappointing evening but we’re still in the top 4 and have played some good cricket in the last couple of weeks. We haven’t suddenly become a bad side! Northants are a much better team than their placing suggests. It was inevitable that they would get a win at some point. More than any other form of cricket T20 is a lottery, but there’s still everything to play for. We’ve played - and beaten - some of the top rated teams twice already and are well placed to qualify for the quarter finals. I’m optimistic.
PS Suggest we bring back Brandon Carse, Liam Trevaski and David Bedingfield for the next fixture.

That's unfair, there are 3 forms of cricket and in T20 Stokes isn't anywhere near the best. He's one of the best in the other two formats.Only on the SMB can Stokes and Kane be called worse than shit

Isn’t Stokes one of the most expensive players in the Indian T20 ? They obviously think he’s decent. He was also decent in his last game wasn’t he ?

He's worth more commercially, no-one is saying he isn't decent but his reputation is exaggerated in T20 due to his brilliance in the other formats.
His stats in IPL are nothing special.

Agreed. Just wish he'd play more sensibly.
Disagree, I think he, like many other England players come back to county cricket and try to show why they are England players, they feel they should dominate attacks. There are loads of decent CC bowlers who quite often have their pants down. Sometimes just playing to your ability which is way above everyone else is enough without the need for 50 from 14 balls.
