In the minority here but I think he showed glimpses of potential here and has obviously done well at Wimbledon I wouldn’t have been against giving him pre season. Good luck to the lad if he goes, just didn’t do it anywhere near often enough here unfortunately but will have a decent enough career.
Loyalty pay off.I dare not tell you about him.not cryptic this just I will get bollocked if I do
He was bizarre to watch at times. He seemed to have a couple of minutes where he looked fairly quick and mobile in a game but then spent the other 88 minutes strolling round like an old age pensionerHe played quite well when we went on that good run under Parkinson, but apart from that he was dross.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a stiffer midfielder play for us.
Both wanted the best I'm sure; why sabotage their own investment. I think Charlie took things too personally and got too emotionally involved and that manifested itself in saying and doing things that just came across a bit shit. That of course is my perspective from being very much on the outside looking in.we cant know if coton did a good job or not because we know donald over ruled him and others on football decisions.
we can know coton's CV justified him getting the job, and the role hehas now at man utd where he manages more people than he did at safc indicates his standing in the game is very high indeed.
yes indeed..he and donald were awful..donald was wellmeaning at the start but very nieve, methven was incompetent from early on and very mendacious, totally out of his depth
i think what yousay about methven also applies to donald, but when things didnt go perfectly to plan donaldbecame moremendacious..they were both staggeringly nieve..but methven was there to stopdonald being nieve and couldnt manage thatBoth wanted the best I'm sure; why sabotage their own investment. But did well at Wimbledon and there were signs ( at times in his first season ) he might be ok …..eg his goal against Burnley ( iirc ) in the EFL cup gameDoesn't run like a footballer.
Doesn't kick a ball like a footballer.
Didn't even carry himself around the pitch as a footballer.
It's a no from me.
Table tennis ?Bet he signs for Brentford then plays for England.
I'm only joking

but he wasnt allowed to dohis job of finding players..players he saidno to were signedCome on, he was here for about 2 years with the job of finding and signing players.
We can know if he did a good job or not.
He didn't.
Just because someone has high standing in the game, doesn't mean you can't look back at the job they did somewhere and conclude, aye, he was shit there.
eh? he who says he is unaffordable to league one? one team cant afford him..How have we managed to sign a player from a relegated Walsall team and given him so much money that he's now unaffordable to League 1 ? FFS he would have come for £50 a week.
Another transfer masterclass by us.
