I thought he missed the towel at first and panicked when he saw it in the ring so chucked it out. But even if he'd missed it, he had the chance to stop it after the 2nd knockdown but didn't. And as shite as Ritson is, he definitely did see the towel, went to leave then turned back when he realised the ref hadn't stopped it. Ref totally fucked up.

"Everyone wins" now you've lost your entire stable and are resorting to showing fights in the middle of the night between fighters your average casual viewer have very little interest in.

otherwise someone could sign for a fight get slightly clipped once in the first round and the corner chucks in the towel and they all go home with full wallets

Well NE boxing has had a shocking year. Completely collapsed on itself.
Hopefully whoever picks up the McCormacks after the Olympics actually does a decent job of building them here in the NE this time, not put them on loads of PPV undercards and get a good matchmaker for them. Some good lads in French and Dickinson in the and as well as a few others so it can come again here.
Both Kelly and Ritson beat up, Ward getting an underpar draw and Laws, well he was always gonna lose as soon as he stepped up but it helps when people up here can sell tickets.
I suppose at least Vallily dropped the Mountain this year lol
