Craft Beer

Will have to look out for that. I appreciate I will be a bit late to the party on this one but I tried bevertowns' neck oil over the weekend, thought it was tremendous.

Got it from Fenwick's for 1.99 which seems the going rate. Noticed they had some gamma ray stuff as well, is that any good.

Got some Jaipur to try but not opened it yet.
Both reasonable beers tbf. Get to an independent little bottle place. Be prepared to pay a bit more. The difference in quality is unreal.

Will have to. I used to walk past one called the block and bottle every day and aways said I will go in later but never did. Then it moved to jesmond way I think. It always looked good. There are bound to be some decent ones in Newcastle where I work will keep a look out.

£1.99 might be the cheapest you’ll pay from now on mate ;)

@Wild Card welcome. Looks like we have another who will be following the well trodden path of getting a few in for three quid a pop and then fast forward a few months and he's thinking nowt of spending 40 quid on four/five tins
Used to be just an off license when the wife was at uni. In fact he was just extending it to put more alcohol in when I was last in. didn't realise it had become a good beer hub
Rehills is ridiculously good for it. If you're on Instagram their page updates daily with new stock.

Block and bottle was a cracking little place. Havent been since it shifted but then Sunderland now has a fair few micro bars/bottle shops doing the good gear now so don't venture through that way as much for cans.

Can anyone recommend a nice starter stout that's best served cold? Would quite like to get into Stouts but don't really know where to start, rattled off just about all commercial IPAs but fancy something different.
