They're the shit, childish comments I made at the time. And these days, I'm embarrassed by them, just as Ollie will be.
He's clearly grown up, learnt about life, and isnt the same bloke. Absolutely pointless punishing him, and just doing it for show.
I just fail to see what else the ECB could do tbh. Cant just forget about it on the back of a apology. They have to do something. A suspension while a investigation takes place seems fair course of action to take imo

That does make sense, in fairness. Take the lad out the firing line until they can be sure there's nothing else, and gain approval by calling it a suspension at the same time.

I've laughed at some shocking things, again I challenge anyone on here to say they haven't, I can guarentee we have all had "borderline" jokes sent to our mobile phones/facebook. The chances are if he is saying that stuff in tweets he's been saying much worse amongst his social circle. All it takes is one of them willing to spill the beans for a few quid. Imagine the furore aimed at the ECB if that was the case. This is definitely the right course of action taken by the ECB imo
