This 100%. Don’t blame them for taking the piss - we’d do exactly the same. But they’ll still tell the world that we’re obsessed with them, when they only live for us. They want to be mentioned in the same circles as City, Chelsea, Liverpool etc. but they know they never will be, so have to make do with comparing themselves to little ole Sunlun in the 3rd division. As bad as we’ve been over the last few years, the only certainty we ever had was that we’d beat those fuckers.

No matter how bad things are for us, always remember that at least you’re not a mag.
Will be several years before we see top flight football again, but when we do, we’ll have enjoyed 2 promotions while they’ll still have an empty trophy cabinet and will still be whining on about how good they believe they should be. Things can only get better for us whilst for them, this is probably as good as it gets and their only pleasure is hoping we continue to fail.

Have you seen the mags thread on this board? I'm sick of the sight of it. We have some who are scarily obsessed with them. Quite a few only post on that thread and nowhere else.

We’d be loving it if the roles were reversed. Beauty of football, everything happens in cycles and we were up and they were down not too long ago, and sure we’ll be above them again at some point. Got to enjoy when you’re on top and suck it up when you aren’t.
