Random England players of the 90s

Yes, such a shame.

He was a great character.

I saw him playing as pro for Chester Le Street after his accident
My first game I ever attended was a testimonial for him at Ropery Lane (it was against Greenside maybe 1975?).

I remember he never scored many and spent most of the remainder of the game in the bar.

Bet he would have loved batting in the T20.:D

Vince Wells and Matthew Fleming -neither played Test cricket but both represented England in ODIs in the 1990s.
God there were some shocking allrounders picked for England in the 90s werent there. If you could get 20 runs down the order and bowl a few right arm dobbers you were sure to get a chance.
(cork & white were decent obviously)

Mark Alleyne
Dougie Brown
Ian Austin

Adam Hollioake was one of the worst examples of playing for the right county. He was bloody awful. Bopara just the same.
Yeah he was a right arsehole AH too. Bit of a slogger batting 7 and would hoy some 70mph dobbers down and slower balls under the guise of being a seam bowler. Trash.

Official fantasy T20 was some craic about 5 or 6 seasons ago. No idea why the official sponsor fucked it off. Bopara was a must have as was Terry Westley & Will Smith iirc.
