Champions League Final in Porto

How are the UK fans going to get around the fact that Portugal is refusing entry to non-essential visitors from outside the EU?

It should have been played in England, no question.
Any European Final of this nature should be played in the country of both competing teams if that's where they both come from. It's crazy to drag large sets of fans across Europe when they both originate from the same country.
The Play Off Finals, although not as prestigious in the eyes, of the world are an important part of the English football calendars and as a result there should have been an immediate "no" with regards to the CL Final taking place at Wembley.
Plenty of other available stadiums it could and should have been played in though.

Yeah should have just refunded all the corporates their sponsorship money, deducted it from the prize money the clubs receive, and gone ahead at Wembley without them.

Portugal isn't refusing entry to non-essential visitors from outside The E.U.. That is a proposal from The E.U. and a typical cut off their noses to spite their faces one at that. Portugal are desperate to have holidaymakers from G.B. or any other country deemed safe, so another potential disagreement between member states is likely to occur.
