That stand might make a comeback when the Trapdoor is towed away and the luxury hotel gets builti've been pining for those old scoreboard seats since they took them away! that lovely bouncy wood in the stands, it was like wigan casino (i imagine)

Rumours were it was going to be where The Magistrate sits/sat and the Laura Wright Stand next to it but if that's the case it's going to be a bloody small hotel.i hadn't even considered where the hotel would be, surely it would be behind.. well, it couldnt be behind that stand as it would block out lumley castle, but it couldn't be where that is otherwise the capacity would be decimated for internationals

Must be close to calling it quits, shame.
Dominated and played well in three games with lots of positives including an incredible game for one of our batters, yet weve drawn two and lost one.
Learning to get over the line from winning positions must definately be the next target for an improving Durham side.

Need to sort out the bowling attack, its too 1 dimensional: pick a frontline spinner and/or left armer. Also more attacking strategies needed from the captain - too much banging away and praying for a bit of luck from the wicket.
just need more variety in attack. i really feel like a little bit of medium pace somewhere in the middle order could help but nobody there springs to mind. or if someone like carse, potts, coughlin can bat well enough to be a 5/6/7 bat we could have a better attack , but even so it's just too one dimensional for me.. unless trevaskis is the answer
I suspect Trevaskis isn't the answer, but is preferable to not having a finger spin option.
