It's the best option to be honest. Trying to get a good manager in now will be tough and won't be up to speed as you put it for the play offs.Aye, he'll be well integrated into our set up and totally up to speed on our squad.
Even if it means never getting promoted for those 2 seasons?. Let's face it LJ has nothing on his CV regarding promotion and he's blown it this year.This is a particularly acute problem at Sunderland.
Stability is needed so the Speakman Johnson management team should be persevered with for a few seasons to start to build the club in their image.
