I think if he is purposely trying to relegate you it so he can start the process again. There's no way he's selling in the Championship at a lower fee. Rinse and repeat.

I like to think he's doing it on purpose to manage your ridiculous high expectations and to piss you off after all the shit you've given him and the way you gan on 🤣🤣🤣🤣
After the crap he's took I wouldn't blame him in one sense to have a go at those who've slaughtered him for any excuse thought up.
Having said that, he's a businessman so rather than just find ways to get back at those who've tried to make his life a misery, he just finds ways to do what he does best, which is build his business and control any other business that goes alongside.

I still firmly believe we'd be in the lower leagues if he'd not taken over when he did.
Yes. You said a very good championship side and I think it would, without investment, be a mediocre one. But then again I thought we would be pushing at the top...not dropping to the bottom.
I'll beg to differ on that.

Hopefully we will get the chance to find out :)

I think we will.
Don't forget that I said "with additions"....

But...I stand by what I've said. I think we would potentially keep pace with the pace setters in that league, with what we have and do get in.

I've definitely resigned myself to the championship because I don't see any other set up that changes it.

Fulham should (and deserve to) take our place and leave us as third team down.

Anyway, where do you think we will finish in the championship?

I think we will finish our first season in the play off's and potentially lose out for promotion.
After that...who knows?

That's my prediction for what's coming.

Over to you.

I don't have a crystal ball! Besides, I thought we would be at least in the play offs and look what happened. The Championship doesn't respect reputation, former glories or attendance. Look at it now - Barnsley, Brentford and Reading all in the playoff places with historically large teams such as Stoke, Shef Wed, Forest and Blackburn all struggling. Too many ifs and buts to even start to hazard a guess. For example, if Wilson stayed he would surely be prolific in the Championship. Perhaps even Linton.

Right now the bookies have Newcastle as 8/11 to go down, or 58%, so not all lost yet.

Lets get all this we deserve to go down/Fulham deserve our space/serves Ashley right/better off going down shite out of the way......If we go down it will be a hell of a lot worse. Give your head a shake your talking utter shite getting rid of Ashley will be quicker and easier if still in premiership, when fans are allowed back in Stevie boy wont last 5 mins with all the abuse raining down on him, if he had any morels he'd fuck off now but we all know he's a greedy bastard

Where has all the money gone that Big Mike has taken out of the club?

I love morels cooked with garlic.

But, but, but..... the Saudis wanted to invest in the region.

No sportswashing involved, oh no!

Also included is analysis of deals that never came to fruition following an outcry, including a $6m offer to footballers Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi to be the face of the Kingdom’s tourism body Visit Saudi and a controversial $400m takeover-bid for Newcastle United.
It looks like 83% of them are sportswashed so 5 out of 6

An incredible 14,000 Newcastle fans filled in our Steve Bruce survey and the results make it clear that there is an appetite for change in the dug-out - and serious fears about both the club's Premier League status and, in a new development, the fate of the proposed takeover.

The headline results are:

  • 95% think Newcastle should make a change and part company with Steve Bruce (13,351)
  • 92% think Newcastle will get relegated with Bruce in charge - just 4% have confidence that he will keep the team up
  • But it is Mike Ashley who Newcastle fans blame for the current situation - with 53% blaming him for the club's predicament
  • And confidence in the takeover is draining too - 58% now think it WON'T happen while 41% think the legal efforts through arbitration are doomed to fail
  • But 83% of fans still want the PCP Capital Partners, Saudi-backed proposal to go through

Some people don't deserve a platform to be listened to IMO. Two of them in that picture.
Looking at the replies it is not going well for him, but I guess his livelihood is correlated with clicks and he knows how it works better than me. Few supporters for him though even his followers are not stupid enough to leave a permanent endorsement for TR on the internet.

I'm not on Twitter to be fair, so I miss most of the fuckwittery but I don't know one Newcastle fan who has Wraith even in their subconscious. And if he's striving to be the voice of the fans or whatever delusion he has, talking with that scumbag certainly doesn't provide him with any more credibility. I'm glad he's getting called out and if you're willing to talk with him, people will make the link that he may share some of the same values.

I think it is lost. I actually hope it's lost. We don't deserve to stay up with the way we play.
I'd hate to think we did stay up only to start next season where we leave off with this one.
A handful of watchable games is not something I want to endure again.

Maybe read what I said and absorb it.

I don't "tweet" just passively view. This place is full of like minded people and still no one wants my opinion so the wider population certainly don't!

Wraith isn't doing bad with 37k followers which is more than a lot of journo's. In fairness he has seen an opportunity and gone for it to try and boost his profile. He may likely sell more DVD's and books on the back of it. But in terms of mainstream journalism/being associate with a brand such as NUFC he must accept he is tarnished whether that is fair or not.
