It's the preceding 15 seasons average from the point on the red line to the year above. You can see how Man City's has climbed for example, 15 seasons ago at 19.8 (just above 20th) in 2006/07 to 4.40 last season (alternating just above 4th/5th). As they'll finish 1st this season then it will go to 3.53 (alternating 3rd/4th).

Is the last observation right? Should it Not be 1st rather than 8th?

Nice work
Ta, I needed something to piss about with so did them. Here's Man Utd's but again they may not be perfect as I'm just copying n pasting data quickly but hopefully it gives an idea.

Aye, I noticed that I'd included Arsenal's previous year!

I mentioned a while back on this thread about the shocking state of finance that Big Mike inherited. The high interest rate loan, based on future income is along the lines of what (to a far larger degree) is happening now with GFG.

They've been running on finance provided as above and now find themselves in a rather large hole.

"Replacing the credit lines is key for the survival of GFG, a grouping of dozens of businesses controlled by Sanjeev Gupta and his family, which relied on funding provided by Greensill that was secured against future sales. The collapse of the lender earlier this month triggered a cash crunch at GFG, which employs 35,000 people in 30 countries."

But, but, but...... fat cockney b*stard, I believe.

"What can we do? I don’t really know but I decided to stand close to the training ground on Tuesday morning with a cabbage on a stick on a one man protest. This was allegedly the first day back at training after the Brighton debacle, which I had had over two days to stew on"

This....is f***ing GOLD 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Has any one of their protests ever achieved anything?

Out of curiosity, who’s had the biggest drop? Maybe even just since 1990?

No, but it gives great ammunition.

Mock funerals, misspelled bed-sheets, shouting at a shop, PL protest, Saudi flags, calling Amanda Queen ..... but if cabbage day took off it would trump them all.

Apparently for not protesting we let people walk all over us. Just like Ashley then.

I'm not familiar with the wrecking phone boxes one? Is that because they are red?
Think it stems from the last day of the season in 96 when Man Utd won the title (after being 12 points behind them). They smashed up the Bigg Market including phone boxes. I'm sure there was a photo in the papers of some munter with her quim out standing on top of phone box! Classy.

Boycoutts as well! (remember when they were all going to watch the match on the concourse TV then walk in at half time? And Ashley switched them all off!).

My point is this though. They try time and again, and achieve fuck all. They criticise our lack of protests, but protesting achieves fuck all in football.

But they keep trying, and making a fool of themselves in the most spectacular ways.

Haway man. Cabbage on a stick is going to change the world. Don’t you know how great protest movements start? At least we now know why that Wego turned up at sports direct with a spade.

The Chartists, The Million Man March on Washington, The Civil Rights Movement. All started with a cabbage on a stick.
