Esther Rose last album was great, looking forward to the new one tomorrow.

Been playing the Sofia Kourtesis EP all week, good stuff.
Janet Simpson album also excellent.

There's a Sports Team b-sides, live, and rarities compilation but it looks like it's physical only - might only be UK as well, as I'm not able to find anything at this end

Their twitter account suggests that it's vinyl only, limited to 1000 copies and only available in UK indie stores, assuming you're talking about Plant Test. They also seem to say it's out on May 28th.

Then I guess their marketing communications suck - the email I got from them this morning starts, "Hey, so today we're releasing a collection of never before heard demos..." - they clearly don't know the difference between releasing and announcing. I've since looked on a couple of indie record shop sites and they indeed say May.

I wouldn't have a clue where to start with that lot

Curious to hear Antlers - I'd forgotten all about them. Liked their stuff in the aughts but don't feel like I've heard anything in a decade. Don't recognize much else from the list. Quite like DFA 1979 and I think I have an old Loney Dear, but don't think it was really my thing. After that I'm a bit stumped. Cathal Coughlan is another from the recesses of my late 80s to mid 90s. My God, who knew he was still cracking on - haven't thought of him since seeing him be rubbish at the Fleadh in around 94 or 95!

Remember trying them out when they were first mentioned on here a few years back and it not doing it for me. Saw them do a new song on Full Frontal 3-4 weeks back and not liking that either. On paper it ticks most boxes for me yet something doesn't work. I'll maybe give it a go, but...

Yeah I get it. Not really loved anything since Who Kill, it’s a really good album

Absolutely love this deathcrash record. Stunner. It's somehow very chilled out yet at the same time quite intense. Strongly recommend.

Just booked to see them play in a church around the corner from me in June. Can't wait!

This Antlers album is beautiful as well. By far the best thing thing they've done since Hospice. Wasn't expecting this.
Enjoyed that For Those I Love record on first spin as well. Reminds me of Real Lies, spoken word alt dance music.

Just heard For Those I Love - a definite contender for album of the year. Irish lad mourning the suicide of his mate - its like an updated A House and just a fantastic album.
