Bad news for the region
 

They battled well against Brighton, but Brighton have a better team and the mags have injuries to key players, unsure how that's Bruce's fault. The mags are being unrealistic as usual.

Not only that but a million households compared to a 'couple of thousand' households in London. Typical Mag arrogance and their wannabe massive club mentality as they cling to the only thing they have - their support. I'm surprised he never mentioned that Fulham haven't played in as many European games or don't have a famously numbered shirt.
It's a crass and ridiculous thing to say which completely belittles mental health issues.

Also noticed this "the Mail on Sunday has carried a huge interview with Rafa Benitez today where he eloquently outlines the reality of the fans situation (“Some pundits say ‘they ask for too much.’ No, they deserve something”)" - Why do they deserve something? Why are they more deserving of something than say Sunderland, or Burnley, or Mansfield or Accrington Stanley. What makes them so deserving?

I know I shouldn't tar them all with the same brush, but when you see self important twaddle written in an article like this, it's difficult not to.

Benitez knows how to appeal to simpletons with his banal, transparently political, statements. Would be at home in the House of Commons.
 
In the bbc match live text a mag was blaming bruce for signing Almieron, even though he joined 6 months before bruce got the job. No mention also of praising him though for the signings of their two best players wilson and the frenchie winger.

Half of them did, but the foreign lads didn't look at all interested. That Joelinton is wank isn't he? Brighton looked a far better team and so did Fulham, in fact Lincoln or ourselves would probably beat them on current form.
 
Wrote previous that I think Maja is a championship player but thought he was unlucky the other night wi that turn and shot.

Mitrovic is not the saviour so doesn't look good for them even if they chasing a side that are shite and have packed in.
 
Ashley really needed to sack him last month. That way, the new manager could have had a go at this recent run of fixtures and got them up the table. They've waited too long now, and I'd think any promising manager (Lampard, Howe etc.) is probably more likely to wait until the end of the season. That probably leaves them with three options: Stick with Brucey, appoint Jones until the end of the season or bring a Mark Hughes type 'survival specialist'. All three are canny options mind.

For whatever reason, Ashley (or Charnley) is particularly bad at making quick decisions when they're struggling. There was Kinnear, then Carver, and then waiting too long to get rid of McClaren. It's panning out the same way now.

I've got no doubt this has to do with the handy pay-off Bruce is supposedly due if he's sacked.

Haven’t fulham won 3 out of last 6 or something. It’s only about 3 weeks since they went to anfield and won so i’d expect them to get few more points before end of season

the paragraph towards end re 'rampant pisstaking' by various media people isnt on is beyond ludicrous.
