My point, which was a throwaway remark, was had he just agreed to his demands we wouldn't be on the cusp of relegation. I'm sure even you can agree with that. We never started seasons brightly under Benitez, but we always finished very strongly. I haven't said he loved us, or he was a messiah. I'm saying he's better than Steve Bruce, which he clearly is.
