All criminal activity, he'd never been in a police station in his life, carer for his dad went to work didn't even drink
Without his name I’ll have to accept what you are saying but to even be involved with the names that were convicted in this trial and to be given a ten stretch on first offence , i find it extremely difficult to believe. All criminal activity, he'd never been in a police station in his life, carer for his dad went to work didn't even drink
This is exactly the issue, he is saying my mate helped him mix 5 kilo's of Cocaine on a certain day in 2014, he knows 100% it was that day because he went to his uncle funeral after it, after the trial when I got the grasses statement I checked up on what he'd said, the bloke who he said his funeral he went to wasn't dead, wasn't his uncle and he'd gave a false name to the court for him. 10 years starting point for 5 kilo's is the sentencing guidlines and that's what he got.If he was innocent how did he get 10 years?
Unless the grass has fabricated loads of evidence you can’t convict someone based on the words of what I would expect to be seen as an unreliable witness given what you’ve said.
Unless I am missing something?
What other evidence did they have other than the word of the informant ? You can’t just be convicted on the word of one person without any other evidence . Just out of interest , what were you doing with the deposition of the informant ?This is exactly the issue, he is saying my mate helped him mix 5 kilo's of Cocaine on a certain day in 2014, he knows 100% it was that day because he went to his uncle funeral after it, after the trial when I got the grasses statement I checked up on what he'd said, the bloke who he said his funeral he went to wasn't dead, wasn't his uncle and he'd gave a false name to the court for him. 10 years starting point for 5 kilo's is the sentencing guidlines and that's what he got.
Yes you can, this is the issue, he turned grass in November 2014 and it took 3 years to bring to trial, he is telling lie after lie in court but is seen as credible because of the risk of harm to him and his family, I was a defence witness in the trial and had to deal with application to the CCRC, I have all of his statements with all of the names and allegations on.What other evidence did they have other than the word of the informant ? The fact manslaughter was accepted tells you there's more to this than is being reported....They'll get far too cocky and pick on the family of some other wrongun eventually. Really shit for the bloke in question, I fail to see how it can be anything but attempted murder. Shove 20 years up their arse.
Always the same. 99% of people just want a quiet life. Only takes one of these twats to ruin a community.Same families causing trouble in Wingate/Station Town now are the same families that have been causing problems for 30 years. Just that the younger ones are generationally disconnected from any idea of consequence. Everybody knows who it is. Everybody knows the police are so under resourced they cant do anything. They are to all intents and purposes untouchable.....I hope the ***** make a mistake and blow themselves up But realistically there is only one way this will end. Somebody is going to get very seriously hurt or even killed
Like I say I can only take your word for it but I have never seen a trial where the only evidence is the word of an informant .Yes you can, this is the issue, he turned grass in November 2014 and it took 3 years to bring to trial, he is telling lie after lie in court but is seen as credible because of the risk of harm to him and his family, I was a defence witness in the trial and had to deal with application to the CCRC, I have all of his statements with all of the names and allegations on.

Hopefully it's the scumbags who are seriously hurt or killedSame families causing trouble in Wingate/Station Town now are the same families that have been causing problems for 30 years. You know it wont be. The ***** are like cockroaches.Hopefully it's the scumbags who are seriously hurt or killed
I hate scum like that. They should be all rounded up and shot. All their offspring should be neutered as wellYou know it wont be. The ***** are like cockroaches.
My brother was Wingate's beat copper in the early 80sthat video was quite heartbreaking. i'm not from wingate (wheatley hill) but went to wellfield and most of my mates were from wingate. we used to roam the streets back in the day (early 80's) but never caused any bother.
it's just like a lot of the pit villages that have gone to rack and ruin. you have scumbags breeding scumbags and unfortunately it's not likely to get any better. it might be the wrong thing to say but i feel so sorry for the bairns growing up in a feral environment with absolutely no future.
after school we progressed to drinking in wingate which was a great, vibrant place with loads of pubs from the fir tree to the workmens. normally there would be some sort of carry on of a sunday night and usually the same folk but it was always just fists and usually stopped before it got too bad.
i used to know the lads parents-probably their grandparents actually and they were a really nice couple.
it wasn't that long ago a house was burnt down in station town, it was apparently a case of mistaken identity ffs.
we had our own bus. some of my best matchday memories was being on the wingate bus, great days.
Similar happened to my mate down Darlo way. How can this be allowed man. Lawless. Problem is the lad who started the fire isnt the big problem.Mate at Haswell had his vehicles emptied in his yard 2-3 year back.
Had footage n when he showed police who it was they advised he didnt pursue it any further!
This is why I wanted a separate thread, just to see if we could help the family, rather than talk about the ills of local villages.let's keep the original story on track eh?
