Aye it does a bit when you read Silverwood

If Ali had some cricket in him I'd be up for that, I just think, even before all this he was looking well past his best, and if you add on the fact he hasn't played red ball cricket in 18 months, and has just had coronavirus, its a big ask like.

Bess did bowl some peaches in the series, they almost need to use him in an attacking way and for his batting, and hope Leach holds an end.


I just thin, the Sri Lanka series was great preperation to the conditions, but a lot of that XI there didn't play in it. Difficult this with no warm ups like.

Bairstow - yes, for one of the top 3.

Wood - no. 100% effort all the time, but unless it's reversing, then I think Archer's pace will do

I get he's had covid. But like is he not supposed to be involved in the white ball series immediately after the test series.

Why the fuck they sending him home. What if he plays well and takes loads of wickets.

He actually started well with the ball last series. He was excellent with the bat but he was batting 5 mainly

He got released by RCB as well so not even sure to be playing the IPL afterwards

Most have the Indian players have had one week out of the bubbles since the IPL started last summer. They ended up with loads of injuries and fatigue by the end of the Australia tour too. They’re clearly favourites but maybe that will play to our advantage if we don’t get hammered in the first 2 tests
