Ive said this loads lately.If ya think about it what could the EFL be looking at ,KLD is a 23 year old with no baggage.They are going to clear the whole lot out that are out of contract,and start to build with a clean slate.

It would be wise. Absolutely pointless spending money on one or two players in the hope they have enough quality to drag the squad up via the playoffs, just to need to sign a whole new squad for a championship survival campaign.

In the long run, if we have a plan, not going up this season may be a blessing in disguise

We've probably got a lot of players who know they won't be here next season regardless. I suspect the less likely promotion becomes, the less inclined they'll be in putting their bodies in the line.
