The driver who has to leave the house, go to work, interact with loads of different people from different households?

Haway man. Very minimal contact and if so its outside the house. If he wasnt delivering my food he'd possibly be stacking shelves indoors with hundreds of people milling about. I know which id choose.

Yes make it your last , its as ridiculous as your others.
So you think its safer for everybody to mill around in supermarkets ( enclosed space , hundreds of people) , than for one fella to drop a few bags of shopping on a doorstep BEFORE HE KNOCKS, then he can walk back to his van as the householder in taking it into the property.

Complete nonsense man. Its not selfish at all. Its a service put on by the shop which helps ease the packed shops which is high risk compared to deliveries which a very low risk.

With you being in Seaburn way, have you tried Alishaan? (have not read whole thread). Alishaan is canny, only second to Forhans but Forhans only accept cash and it is a clart on.

Nah heard good things though Goa and akkis are usually my go to places

I like Goa, never had takeaway from there, just used to eat in. Akkis after rave reviews I found very disappointing, but will give it another try.

I get different curries wherever to try and avoid being disappointed

I think it's chilli chicken masala I get which is good, I prefer Goa but it can be inconsistent with how spicy the Madras

Ive always been put off Forhans due to the Foodies page. I will eventually have to try it

I'm not a great fan of Indian takeaways as I find so many of them are indistinguishable from one another. Alishaan are ok but the best place I've found is Lasun in South Shields. Their food is genuinely a bit different from the standard curries (although they do them) and they have a good variety.
