Him and Patel actually don’t make any cabinet decisions regarding Covid which is bizarre and goes against the traditional norms of how British cabinet rule functions. The quartet of BJ, Hancock, Gove and Sunak are the ‘Covid cabinet’, for the foreign and Home Secretary to not sit around the table does indeed seem bizarre.
