Vegan sausage roll from greggs, not to hot, just cooling down, simply lovely
That's probably the same meal I had at six in the BalticThink mine was up in Edinburgh in a nice restaurant. It was ox cheek served on a bed of mash with greens and a red wine sauce. Beautiful soft meat that just fell apart. I did have a few Malbec’s before hand which may have swayed my judgement
Had a superb one last Feb in the carpe diem lounge club in Barcelona.WATTBA!!!!
An authentic paella
Honestly my best meal ever was in the Kuwait/Iraq desert I don’t even know where I was at the time, had been out setting up some stuff and the 6 of us had not seen anyone for a few days, living in rashions, then we got word everyone else was moving up to join us, needless to say the chefs were the ones we were looking forward to seeing, the food was simple mince and veg in gravy, the lads and me got sent straight to the front of the line, and I’ve never enjoyed a meal as much as I did that day/nightWATTBA!!!!
An authentic paella cooked over burning pine wood/pinecones in Ibiza in a three foot wide paellera in 1974. Never tasted the like again.
I've never heard the expression "My bairn's grandad" before. Unless you have a very interesting family tree it is surely either your dad or your father-in-law?? Soz if I'm thick !My bairns grandads Christmas dinners, he pulls out all the stops and everything is deliciously flavoursome (hope I get one this Christmas, last one I had was Christmas 2019).
He's no relation of mine.I've never heard the expression "My bairn's grandad" before. Unless you have a very interesting family tree it is surely either your dad or your father-in-law?? Soz if I'm thick !
