His patter in press conferences is dreadful, it's always shifting the blame to the players not having enough quality or whatever everytime he goes on a bad run or loses games. It's actually the exact opposite of how 'successful' managers go about speaking to the press really.

He's cut from the same cloth as the likes of Allardyce, Moyes, Hughes, Pulis and co, surely it's about time they were all phased out.
 
I was in favour of him getting our job at the time and the Newcastle shite didn’t even come into it. He moved away as a young’n and had nowt to do with them throughout his career ffs there’s barely a link there anymore! What he did to that squad though was terrible. Completely ruined it and his time had run out. We were going down and he needed removed due to the results and his performance. Aye the Geordie stuff was mentioned in the songs we used to sign but that was just in frustration in my opinion, we didn’t want him out because he was a geordie. I’m a geordie ffs and I was signing for him to ho in the end!

You just know in years to come he’ll heap praise on them and slate us. He’s more unpopular among their fanbase than he was here.

I work in Newcastle (well under normal circumstances) and predicted he would match, if not better the league positions they achieved under Benitez. Suffice to say, I wasn’t wrong.

The Mags at work put their present disdain down to his brand of football being absolutely crap. There might be truth in that, I wouldn’t know, I don’t go out of my way to watch their games. I can only say that in terms of league position and relative progress on that front, they haven’t got a lot to complain about.
 
We went from having one of the best squads I've seen to one of the weakest. Always seems to be buying players for the sake of it and loves a free transfer to shoehorn into the squad when not needed.

He's one of many who's made an absolute fortune from being sacked. Plenty of them about.
 
The issue they have is they genuinely believe they were a good side and good to watch under Rafa. They are utterly brainwashed. Truth is they were utter shit under Rafa and he wasted millions. I've read Bruce is destroying Almiron and that Rafa got the best out of Almiron.... How many goals and assists did this lad have under Rafa?? I recall him going yonks without doing anything.n
 
I, along with the vast majority of our fans, never had a problem him being our manager. We enjoyed some good times under him but his last 6-7 months were abysmal and he needed to go otherwise we’d have been relegated. Does he really expect to be treat well up the road? Playing the same cards as he did here- he’s not going to be accepted. He’s limited in ability and I would not trust him with a sizeable transfer kitty.
