Hope Donald does not take the EFL package, meaning we will not be allowed to buy any players for a few transfer windows

Or absolutely wouldn’t surprise me if he wanted to, however I very much doubt any potential buyer wouldn’t be all over that making it a condition of sale that he doesn’t.
 
I think it’s becoming increasingly clear that Speakman / Johnson were appointments directed by the Holy triumvirate of Rodwell, Methven and Donald with the assistance of Sloanes and Jones. Speakman and Johnson may have been told about imminent incoming investment from third parties to reassure them but I’m absolutely convinced that neither Sartori or KLD have had anything more than minimal input in the appointment of the people taking the club in this ‘new’ direction.

I don’t understand why KLD would let Donald keep his shares. If he wants to buy the club in the long run it’s going to cost him a lot more. He doesn’t need to buy but Donald needs to sell.
 
Remember when Donald said if he wasn’t wanted here, he’d go ?
Him and Methven need to accept they will never be accepted by many fans and need to go.
I’ve said elsewhere as long as they are involved in the club absolutely anything could happen. I can see this “ takeover” going belly up.

The whole reason they loaned him it was clearly not because they were ‘investing in him’. It was because they seen how desperate they were to flip it, so gave him a loan that was so much in their favour, they just had to sit back and watch them fail.

RAWA should keep putting pressure on Donald to leave entirely. Just say to him he said he’d go when he’s not wanted so why’s he trying to keep hold of shares. Would love to see his reply.

Maybe Donald played hardball and at the time kld thought it was a compromise that was needed, however he may well have now found out the hole Donald has gotten himself into and thought he’d play a little hardball himself now.

mate he isn’t just gonna sell and walk away is he, he wants a windfall that much is obvious

If Nixon Is accurate then I would worry that Donald seems to have a renewed taste for it all, particularly if the team and our promotion chances continue to improve. I could see him ballsing up another huge opportunity for us.

I still don’t understand how this all tallies with the appointments made and the progressive change in structure.

The whole thing is very odd.

Perhaps someone who wants to invest has said that he wants it ran in this structure and has tasked Donald with proving he can set it up if he is to remain running it on a day to day basis?

Aye maybe. He’d be an idiot if he let Donald keep his shares though. It would make zero sense. No wonder Donald is going on EFL calls and begging for more money, he didn’t go on any to get the season finished. Priorities
