Im over the full thing now, let them crack on.

How? The current lot arguably don’t have the money to continue and certainly not enough to get us promoted. We can’t just crack on.
According to who? Not sure what people get out of making stuff up. Theres nothing to say that takeover is off

Nixon wont have a clue whats going on

Nixon has been spot on regarding this ownership loss of times

Will you then apologise when it’s proven to
be right.

Also it’s 💯 not happening right now, if it changes and French lad gets a lot more shares and full control I will be delighted, so that’s why I put hope I am wrong.
Ps if you just want happy news stay off here or maybe stay off everything.
Sorry but you havent got clue if its happening or not. Yesterday you said it was based on guesswork now all of a sudden you have a source

No one knows what's going on, bu bearing in mind we first heard of this in July I believe it's becoming tedious beyond belief. It'll no doubt impact on our transfer dealings and there'll be no improvement to the first team.

The other EFL part is that they have to approve the deal itself. This is where - for a completely random example - they might question the business plan of two people who wish to send vast quantities of the club's future income to a former owner. In this sense, it definitely matters if the majority shareholder would be person X or person Y, and that changed during the process, because that's a substantial change in the funding plan and who would ultimately be answerable if they fuck it up.
In essence: Good people sometimes do bad things, or at least things that the EFL would not wish to happen, so they vet the individuals, but they also vet their plans for ownership and can stop a deal going through if they have concerns. This is what they tried to do with Donald - he passed the fit and proper person test, but they had major concerns about how he proposed to fund his ownership.
Thanks. This is very enlightening to me, and explains why the EFL thing is taking so long and may drag on for a bit yet.
The EFL must look back on their approval of the deal SD and CM slipped past them to buy the club with some embarrassment, so will be extra dilligent this time. It might also explain why the American deal hit the buffers at the last minute if they were spooked by some strange matters related to funding and honesty raised by the EFL when their deal went up for approval. Here's hoping the same doesn't happen this time, especially if they start fiddling with percentages as the deal progresses.
The EFL will certainly be looking at this one through a microscope and Kyril's corporate lawyers will be paying full attention.
In the light of all this, it beggars belief that the EFL might be considering Rodwell for an executive position!

Well the ITK’s said it would be done and dusted long before now hence #cans many many times. The fact that fuck all officially has been announced despite how long ago this was reported, and after the last fiasco, it is inevitable that many are going to assume the worst of these parasites in charge and come to their own conclusions. Just like those who believe in a takeover have come to their conclusions with just as little hard facts. At least it keeps the fans divided just like SD/CM want

I think some get snippets from somewhere.

But it's the ITK it's not happening and the ITK it is happening that's annoying.

I go with its happening but can understand the complex nature of who spends and who gains after doing nowt must be shite.

Would I pump money in for small shareholders to profit. Would I shite.

Just wished it was full on takeover and stumpy and scenty gob nashed off.
the thing that puzzles me is.

a) Don't for one minute think if SD was staying as main shareholder we would have sacked Parkinson, (requiring compo),and changed the lay out of the clubs management structure. He cant afford it.
but
b) How can they go ahead and do this when the deal is not finalised and open to going down the drain?
doesn't add up either way for me...
