Yeah, I see what you mean.

Maybe our expectations were just set too high but I wasn’t anticipating appointments like these.

Average academy manager as Sporting Director and a manager with no track record of promotion and a poor win %.

Hope they succeed but I’m feeling deflated, along with many others, which is not a great start for any new regime.

While I don’t particularly want Johnson, what the fuck was he supposed to do at Oldham and the year he was at Barnsley was average, hardly a massive failure when he got the job in February and left the following February.

I’m not against this appointment but he is known as streaky lee by some due to his inability to hold a consistent run together. His sides seem to win afew then lose afew on the belt.

Pretty underwhelming after being told on here that we’ll all be shown otherwise. No offence to lee Johnson but was expecting more.

He’s better than Parkinson anyways so that’s a bonus.

Yet Barnsley went from 14th to 6th and got promoted directly after he left? Literally in the same season.

Suggests he was way underachieving for me
