Takeover News/Rumours - Part 42

Donald just wants a second payday down the line from his remaining stake. He has zero interest in us now, and zero interest in being engaged with running the club. He wants out, but without much financial pain.
The new owners are no better then him then if this is the landmark appointment. Did a bunch of mags help them devise the shortlist?

Johnson might be a shite appointment but he's nowhere near as bad as Parkinson
Funny though Parkinson came with a better win rate than Johnson and 3 promotions. Johnson simply has nothing on his cv to suggest he should be considered. Its an absolute nonsense decision. As I said earlier these clowns who own our club think they know better - we need a 'coach' regardless of his track record of failure, mediocrity. He's just been sacked for failing to get promoted at a club who backed him with investment. This is truly a low that you didn't think we would get to.

Johnson could be the feint, making the chosen one (whoever it is) seem more alluring. I don't mind Johnson. I know it's swimming against the tide, but I'd prefer to suspend judgment on the new manager (whoever it is, part II) until I've first seen what s/he can('t) do with our lot....

At least he's the antithesis to Parkinson.

Plays attacking football, brings youngsters through.....

Those are the good points, the news from Bristol City fans that he goes on long losing streaks and appears unable to halt them is very concerning, along with the fact he's never done anything in his career other than midtable/lower half. It's not an appointment that's going to excite supporters.

If this is true the takeover has got to be off. Another stinking cheap appointment.

Will be sacked by next summer
If he had his infamous streak of wins at the right time we could be promoted by then. Doubt it though, bang average to slightly below average appointment if true but I suspect it’s not.

Did you believe it was possible to get a more depressing managerial appointment than Parkinson? These absolute clowns have done the impossible if they appoint Lee '15th place is what I deliver' Johnson. True clown behaviour but so predictable.
TBF he’s not finished 15th in any year as manager. 12th, 8th and 11th the last 3 seasons.
