Now this would give me a slight cause of concern. If the new head coach/manager is announced before the appointment of a SpD, Technical Director or DoF, whichever role he takes, then it suggests to me that things aren’t as done and in the bag as many of us are being led to believe.

Coach being appointed asap is a must. All the other roles have been in motion for weeks, if not longer.

If one or more BAME candidates apply, you have to interview at least one. EFL regulations. If he was the only BAME candidate, they'd have to.

Some are getting too obsessed with CM remaining.

The sporting director will be running everything that's important for us, performance, recruitment and team matters etc. That's the key appointment.

Any news on Schwarz ? Or was that pure speculation, now we appear to be offering the post to the Birmingham guy ?
