When it comes to football, I believe it’s a game of opinions.

When it’s comes to your opinion, I think you haven’t got a clue what you’re talking about.

Completely untrue - I’ve called every manager we’ve had the last thirty years out as a success or failure within 120 minutes of watching their team. There are fundamentals and principles at stake here

Haway SRS, If you consider Parky a success by any measure I think you’re long overdue a visit to Specsavers

Parky is all that is standing between SAFC and the abyss as it stands. He is fighting for our people with both hands tied behind his back and a corrupt FA repeatedly punching him in the stomach.

His courage, decency and devotion to duty are Some of the greatest assets SAFC has to
woo potential buyers

Not sure what your gripe with the FA is about.

Each to their own but to me Parkinson is driving SAFC into the abyss with his stubborn adherence to a football philosophy taken out of the pages of Rothmans Guide to Football Management 1902.

Ive no doubt he’s a decent man but even lunatics can show great devotion to duty that wouldn’t make them the right man to manage Sunderland.

As for being the greatest asset to woo potential buyers .... any buyer who considers retaining him can keep their money for me.

This is the rumour in the papers if and when the takeover happens. I'm sure it just a rumour rather than based on any discussions. For me, when you appoint a new manager you look at both the short term boost that the likes of Warnock offers as well as the long term vision to take us up through the divisions. Pearson comes across as aggressive and arrogant but would offer both a short term boost and potentially someone who could take us through the divisions. Parkinson quite clearly offers neither. Add in Kevin Phillips and it would be a good appointment. Any thoughts?

i doubt this will happen. This is fella that was managing in the premier league a few months back.

This is a wind-up, surely?

Eh?

And how about-
- inability to use subs
- rigid game plan A
- refusal to bring in youngsters
- refusal to use loanees, moving others around instead

No ones tieing his hands there.

My ‘gripe’ with the FA is that they have been waging war against our club for over 40 years in order to advance the interest of New-assle United.

You are correct, Parky is a decent man however he also has a core of steel, a ruthless edge as sharp as a samurai blade. He is a man who will break every chain to see SAFC succeed.

Commendable prose Sir Rik but I fear Parky’s blade is about as sharp as a disposable bic razor used for 6 months on Big Bill Storey’s facial hair

I like Pearson but he ain’t an upgrade on Parky. He has less charisma, poorer record in the transfer market and less tactical nous
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Why, then, has Parky done so poorly? 8th last year and a 1/4 of this season gone and 8th. That is not good by anyones measure.

This will never happen.
