O'nien is not a centre back.
Gooch is not a wing back.
Power is not a footballer.

Sack the clown now.
Gooch is completely wasted as a wing back imo. It negates all his attacking threat and adds in his low defensive ability. I'd be angry if I were Gooch being told to play there.

obrien was the worst player on the park on tuesday night. every one of our academy lads looked better than him. yet he keeps his place on the bench. on what planet could parky possibly think ' aye, i know what we need in this game, o'brien, that will sort it out'
Same with Power against Mansfield, he was rightly dropped in the league and we won both games. He got brought back in and was absolutely shite against a league 2 side but somehow gets his place back. Pathetic.

Not sure why Neil not on bench.

Think maguire needs to realise he's not gonna play the number 10 role when Grigg gets a game.

Think Embleton will play that in few weeks time.

Depends on the roles of Power and Scowen. Leadbitter sitting in front of the back four should free them up to get forward and stretch the play.
Power does not have any ability to play an attacking role - watch him today, everytime he gets the ball in the opposition half he turns back and lasy it off to the defender. Playing Scowen/Power/Leadbitter in the same team is defensive and to argue otherwise is just being perverse. We are playing MK Dons at home and they are 6th bottom - why play 3 defensive midfielders?

Last chance saloon games ago for most folk.
Unbelievable he's still getting anywhere near the squad, let alone starting 11

There are no other striker options so it really isn't unbelievable. Perhaps giving him a run of games in a team set up to play to his needs might be more helpful than the odd minutes here and there and people moan that he's shite.

Mathews is an accident waiting to happen. Will not interested Grigg ffs. Give me the ball Power so I can try a long pass to the opposition....think I'll watch the rugby

Playing Power and Grigg together cos Power set up majority of Grigg's goals at Wigan? Just thinking out loud.
