What shares you buying?

Rather than buying individual shares, you can invest in a ready made portfolio of shares that just tracks the market.

Investing in a single sector like the big techs increases your risk.
I did this with Santander and split cash between 50% and 70% max portfolios

Nio Inc continues to go up too. Doubled up in the last month after JP Morgan set a price target (that it's now passed).

It depends if you want to invest or gamble.

If you want to gamble then go ahead, the best book I have read about individual shares is Ben Graham’s intelligent investor.

If you want to invest then read something like this:

Just clocked that a deposit yesterday was taken twice from my account but appeared once so far in one of my trading accounts. Was playing up most of the afternoon but didn't show up in the transaction history or balance. Pain in the arse. Saying it will eventually land in the trading account and then I'll have to withdraw it.
