I think we will see Embo today and maybe, even, Neil. Broadly, the better young players should be getting onto the bench regularly, at the least. It's hard to see what the spare strikers bring to the party and, by now, I'd sooner see Neil on the bench over Dobson.
If we do fair enough. However, I am sceptical that PP will bring these lads on - its more likely that he brings on O'Brien who has been pretty awful recently. Hope I am wrong. To be frank Parkinson has an amazing ability to utterly snuff out any optimism. He's very much a Pound Shop Moyes.

Not really sure it's the same thing. He's been signed on loan to be part of the first team.

When he said leaving McGeady out was a pathway for the youth, I didn't realise it mean he's happy to sign kids on loan but won't put any trust in players from our academy.

Diamond isn't on loan, I don't think?

Honestly you should be banned for stuff like that. He's a decent bloke doing a job over the last 24 games that would see us automatically promoted points wise. Yo should be embarrassed at yourself.
It’s ironic really, before the lock-down he was the typical arm chair critic. Doubt this gentleman has ever been to SoL.

My main problem is that the club came out and acknowledged that we could have done better to keep the talent we have lost and said clearly that their strategy to reverse that trend would be offering this 'pathway'. My thoughts were - 'great, at last, the club is trying to do something positive'. Since then they have done pretty much the opposite. Parkinson has said in the press one thing and done the opposite. Its clear we do have some young talent but we will lose it as long as Parkinson is here. Its really a separate issue - one issue is to get promoted. The long term issue is to keep the talent that we have taken years to develop. There is simply no argument to play Dobson in front of Neil or Embleton.

Dobson is 22 and whatever you or I think of him Parkinson may feel that he can still develop into a good player - hes got years ahead of him and if he isn't in the first team then these are the games he should play in. Maybe Power shouldn't play?

Last chance if you want to play today. Send your match pints money to a good cause 😁

hope theres a tin foil cup on view or been dropped off @becs

I'm missing my tin foil cup spotting 😁

Not too bad line up. 2 strikers must be a first for Parkinson.
Dare we hope that Dobson starting is a sign of him getting closer to the bench?
