I just couldn’t understand the comments on here and in the media that we beat a 2nd rate saffer attack over there

him and Rabada are as good as anything out there

Has anyone said they had a second rate attack? Their batting was garbage.....

Three of their seamers (Patterson, Hendricks and Pretorius) were SA first class cricketers who had been around for years but never played a test match before that series.

Hardly the same as facing Morkel, Steyn and Philander at their peak.
Rajasthan letting themselves down with their batting again. Just want to see Jof come in and smash the runs.

If I remember right going into that series they had lost the last 6 test series, South Africa were not a good side,Philander who had been a brilliant bowler was just having a last series swan song and was no where near the bowler he had been, Rabada is top class but had a poor series by his high standards and Norjte was just finding his way in his debut tests.

Personally I thought it was a good time to play South Africa their confidence was at a low, and with their weak batting can’t remember South Africa having a worse side tbh.

Wood needs to get himself in the auction like, he is as quick as this. I can see why he has taken a step back

But the only time he played in the IPL was before he lengthened his run up, he would tear it up over there, and England aren't picking up, so he needs to think of himself.

He deserves to be earning big money.

Wood and Nortje are the 2 quickest bowlers in the world, a few mph quicker than the rest

Archer had 1 spell at Smith where he was that quick, but hasn't been able to replicate it.

He doesnt need to like, been f***ing fantastic this IPL, looked an absolute rolls royce of a bowler

Where's Starc this year? I'd say he is up there with those two for pace.

think he just pulled out for his own sake, played lot of cricket

starc is best one day bowler in the world like,I’d say other 2 slightly quicker, maybe not.
 
Interesting strategy from RCB of batting arguably the best IPL batsman in history at number 6 coming in with 4 overs left. Behind the likes of Washington Sundar and Dube.
 
AB has been around since the start of IPL and averages 40 at a strike rate of 152 in it. Albeit I don't think he's ever won an IPL, that's the only really issue really is the whole choker tag.

For comparison Gayle averages 41 @ 151. But he opens so it's a much easier gig. Kohli 39 @ 131 etc. Russell's record of 31 @ 184 is pretty amazing but he's more of a hitter.
