Reet I'm gonna say it so you all know I'm not fudging the system. I'm not playing to 24 I'm more like 16 now after playing almost every day on our very difficult course. Went this morning and shot an 83 net 59 ffs. Missed some putts too and had 4 6s on me card.

I certainly don't think you are in any way fiddling the system. It is the responsibility of the person(s) applying the system where you are a member that should have adjusted your handicap based upon your competitive play. The initial handicap they allocated to you was also probably too high.

Started to get back into playing again the last few months, but not been out on a course but back at the driving range.

With a change of job (hopefully) i'll get more chance to get out and play during the week.

Anyone recommend somewhere to buy some decent 2nd hand clubs? Ones i have currently were the same ones I was using 10 years ago when I was playing as a teenager

Aye certainly next year. Once I start this new job I'll get out and practice a bit more. Not played an actual round for 7/8 years. But with a bit more free time I'll soon get into swing of things

hadn't seen the forecast, just going by the forecast for here, looks shite again.

I missed Rock kicking off, made the decision to walk the dog and got crapped on by a pigeon...all in all a successful afternoon
