Sunderland Colloquiums

Only ever heard it from people with a speech impediment and I've lived in Sunderland for 52 years. You might have taties in your lugs

I’ve heard various versions of the mispronunciation of words with an ‘r’ in it. There is an element of truth to this. But, and this is far, far more prevalent than the observation of the spoken word discussion. There are three posters on this thread who don’t really give a fuck about the pronunciation. The motive is to wind up attack and those who disagree and it’s a perfect topic to stir up such antagonism to allow this to happen.

And they both rent in Newcastle

 Aye mate you're no doubt right.

I really don't hear these strange pronounciations very often but regardless of this some people on here have a very high (misguided) opinion of themselves
And they both rent in Newcastle
You've misunderstood. He meant a pint of methadone if it was shiny.
Why do you think he was there. To get his fix before going back to his Newcastle bedsit
