Streaming Revenues

If it is shared across the clubs then I understand that view. I’d do the same. Not funding other clubs with money that should be ours. If it works as in that above link the. I totally agree with you.
Me anarl but how can we find out for sure as I’m not giving these other knackers a penny.

Not using my stream. Not a penny more until Sd goes. I'll claim refund if still here at end of season. Although in that event I expect no club as he'll go bust. We need to start ramping up pressure. Silence is defending at present. Unless supporter groups know something we don't they MUST take the lead and start to apply more pressure on Sd imo

According to the Colchester chairman:
“The way it works currently is that the home team keep all of the revenue for the tickets they sell through their own website and they also get the revenue for the first 500 that buy via the away team. For example: for Saturday’s game against Bolton, we sold 452 iFollow passes, (so we keep all of the revenue from those), and Bolton sold 2252 iFollow passes, (of which we get the revenue from the first 500).”
They're lucky that they got an additional 500 sales from us to be honest, given that it was more than their own total sales combined.

Most visiting teams won't even sell 500 in total.

How would you suggest they do that mate?

They seem to think that all the money should be put in a pot and each club get a fair share.
Not only do they want to hamstring bigger clubs with a salary cap but the now also want a share of their income stream.
Im not sure I agree with them!
That’s league 2. Is it the same in league 1?

Well..... I'm sure they have a number of ideas already. Difficult with no crowds in or around ground allowed. Got to get press onside and get them asking questions. They have platform to do same.
True enough mate, I just couldn’t think of anything off the top of me heed. Getting on to the local press is a good one. They’ve been abject through all of this.

If i wanna buy the stream on Saturday, how do I gan about playing it on a bigger screen than me phone?

Laughable they are siding with the whining chairman here. If a club can not sell even 500 streams for a first team fixture, why should others bare the cost. They should probably only be semi professional with that support level.

Aye, you have to ask whether it's worth subsidising some of these clubs any further if only 452 of their own supporters can be arsed watching them.

I would hope that all 100% of the season pass (via SAFSEE) goes to our club!
This is what I’ve been trying to find out. It’s not clear to me who gets what. I can’t find anything on line either.

We didn’t join iFollow which was the leagues preferred option and set up SAFSEE for home coverage. On that basis, unless the league insisted on a percentage payment because we were drawing broadcast income outside of iFollow, I assume the majority income goes to SAFC. Clearly setting up SAFSEE was financially more attractive than participating in the EFL scheme so that’s why we opted out.

I’m assuming it is as his suggestion was for all the FL clubs to put the money in a pot and each team get 1/72 of the total amount.

How do ‘away‘ fans get the streams for our home games, do they have to do it through SAFSEE?

You'd think we could potentially make decent money from away games, that we were not making in previous seasons

In my experience laptop with HDMI to TV is the most reliable.

Sometimes at the landlord will cast to the TV using the SAFSee app but that often stops after ten minutes or so. No idea why.
