This knee bending shite

It very easy to understand but just to make it simpler, English football is kneeling to support the message "No room for racism".

The people who have a problem with that are using the "Marxist BLM" as a convenient excuse.
Why did all the teams in the premier league have a blm badge on their shirts while they were kneeling and raising their fists then?

I don’t doubt there have been donations. But let’s never pretend that there aren’t two distinct things

- some whack jobs who want to do extreme things
- most people who want to see racial equality

it’s a bit depressing that we conflate the two

They are travelling under the same banner. I agree most people want to see racial equality but there seems to be very few stated goals that I can see apart from the extreme groups who want to defund the police etc.

Show racism the red card never got a negative connotation because it's undeniably a good cause. Black Lives Matter, apart from as a phrase, has done some harm to their cause imo.

They’re only travelling under the same banner because people focus on the whack jobs. It’s a convenient distraction from the actual problem. No one actually thinks that the “Marxist” thing is even remotely likely, but it means that people can ignore the real issue

Kick it out have been slated on here, so that’s simply not true btw

Aye unity against the police despite more white people getting shot by the law. They have nothing to say when its black on black. How on earth can society survive without law and order?

While being racist to white people and harping on about slavery centuries ago that white men abolished.
Just read up on it mate. I'll choose to believe you're ill informed instead of out right ignorant.

What are the goals of the good eggs involved in the BLM movement? Specifically I mean, not just end racism. If people could point to these realistic goals it'd be fair enough. You could then differentiate between the "Marxists" and the genuine peaceful protesters.

Kick it out have obvious goals, don't be racist at the match. Now obviously some people still are but it's come a long way and it's far more likely to be shouted down nowadays. Kick it out might have the odd voice against them but not the same as people against BLM.

I can’t say, because I don’t think they’re a well defined organisation. I can’t even name a single person who represents them so I can’t imagine they have a manifesto (bar some whack jobs)

they will drop it the moment crowds return - a lot of working class fans will voice their distaste and the prem/sky/etc wont want that
