Why would they come out and say that when there is no need? If anything it buys Donald time and some grace from people

While I personally think it most likely is the case that SD is said source, Barnes has never said as much.

While I don't think he is necessarily the best commentator in the world, NB is a genuinely smart and trustworthy bloke. If he so staunchly believes it's true, then I think there is no reason to doubt him.

I'm not denying he may believe strongly what he has been told, but we can easily be talked into believing something with no evidence. So i don't think he is lying per se, it doesnt mean he hasn't been fed false info

Nothing coming out will be down to NDA's in place. You would assume lessons have been learned since last year with regards to 'leaking info', as he ended up with a dozen eggs on his face. He's made clear he wants to go, so i'm not quite sure what he would gain from lying about a takeover.

It's bullshit. Ultimately we all want a takeover by billionaires, but we're all allowed to believe or disbelieve (and argue that point) whatever we want until something concrete and public is seen.

Even with NDAs there would me some form of leak that would have found its way to a reporter, yet the only people who have spoken about it is Barnes and that sun reporter who spouts anything. People are then believing this Magnus bloke which would mean there is a leak but not picked up by anyone bar a small forum?
He may want to go, but he wants to go with his profit. If lying about a takeover buys him a bit more time then it is worth it

Someone somewhere mentioned there is a meeting planned for today. Along with mentions of legal teams been buzzing about and deal agreed in principle people have assumed that today's meeting, if there is one, will be to finalise the deal. so could be an announcement that a deal has been concluded, Donald's away and we could be on the path to new beginnings.

Or its all a load of shit and this carries on for another fortnight for us to be told fuck all is happening at the club, and we can't even get enough money together to buy a 35 year old striker on a one year deal

If he's entered a period of exclusivity, you would assume his asking price is being met? Otherwise what's the point?

I don't disagree with your views, however, Nick Barnes has been told by a source, presumably Donald that he is potentially selling club. Until we are told otherwise, I'll believe it's happening

We dont know for definite that we are in a period of exclusivity bar from Barnes post at the start of the month. There isnt even any point in donald agreeing exclusivity because it stops any potential bidding war. My hope is that it is the truth and we hopefully will have new owners with a better vision, my frustration is only people saying it is definitely happening because we arent hearing anything which seems backwards logic to me. I hope what you believe is true
