Ahh, of course. Cheers.

Would Sartori still being involved make the process easier do you think?

It means they can reshuffle the shares in Madrox, and, possibly, only have to pay Donald what he's put in personally (just over £11m, plus anything else he might have put in since July last year). If could also cut down o the amount of due diligence needed.

It has to be a real concern now. Everything that we KNOW has happened is consistent with a club that is desperately short on cash.

Repeat after me until it gets in for everyone: there is no viable business model for league one football without gates.

We are fucked. Everyone is fucked. There is a real possibility we will go bust this year, but we won't be the only one. It won't guarantee relegation, because there will be a lot more than 3 teams with points deductions for administration - a lot.

Sartori has been here from the start and has done nowt so far

Take him out then and look at how rich the other two are
I don’t think we could be that lucky. There’s some wealth there. And when you think of Furhman’s wealth, not to mention contacts and former colleagues. Platek, Phelan and of course Dell.

If its even half true i am getting shit faced

Couldn't have been that close if the wage cap stopped it as everyone knew when it was coming in.

Seems like Garbutt dragged his heels because he didn't want to come and the wage cap was a good excuse to sack it off.

Has he got a club yet? Quite a lot of silly agents around who don't seem to have worked out the new financial realities down this end of the football pyramid. Longer they go on, less likely they are to get any deal, which means clubs can play hardball with them.

It's ok being rich but it doesn't mean they're going to pump millions in

It means the club won't go bust in the pandemic, which is not a f***ing given at all under Donald.

They would put enough money in to stop that. Otherwise, why are they buying us?

It also means we might be competitive in the Championship, if we ever get there.

But aye - the reality is we are not going to be buying ourselves out of League One, we have to do it properly.

Surely there must be ways around it? Like paying hefty performance bonuses etc, something like that. The Derby chairman would find a way!

Don't think so. I think there's quite a few who still don't either tbh.

Yes. Clubs have reacted to the rules, but players haven't. Normally waiting until the window creates a ratcheting up effect for them, where more and more people compete.

Not this time - they'll need to swallow their pride.

Unless a champo club comes in for them.

Going to be a lot of late movement, that's for sure.
