Colin Graves, the man who left more debt in Yorkshire than he tried to close durham down for.

he is no supporter of English cricket, he has done more damage than any chairman before,

He’s a bent bastard who’s only interested in his own bank balance.

I’m was watching on a laptop, noticed who was on, and closed it immediately. The sooner he has no profile in cricket the better imo.

colin graves ffs
"people are now starting to see the advantages of the hundred" - fuck off man
 Which “people” are those? The usual t20 players who flirt around the world picking up thousands for a couple of weeks?

there are zero people who may attend seeing any advantages of the hundred whatsoever.

it will be hilarious to see a half empty oval for a 100 match, followed by a full house for t20.

I will give it a chance but in my opinion, if t20 is not interesting to you Cricket is not your game.

I will always be a purist and T20 is my least favourite form of the game. However I will watch a fair bit of it and it is an exciting format. The Hundred just sounds like a mess to me, there isn't even proper overs FFS.

Graves and the like are turning cricketers into a bunch of mercenaries with no affinity to the counties that developed them.

100 balls ffs - I'm surprised he didn't try and push a professional version of Kwik Cricket.

T20 is canny to have on on the background, like the CPL stuff.

But you can't genuinely decide who is the better team in 40 overs. All it takes is your star play to have a good game.

Just catching up with the thread.

Root said Wood had bruised his foot after the 1st test in training.

So will explain why he's perhaps not involved again.

But if he was in contention why not let him play for Durham. Needs game time before India surely?
Sibley will be a mainstay for years imo. Has lots of limitations and isn't a flair batsman but knows his game and plays his shots, it's when he tries to get drawn into being much more expansive he generally finds issues.

With Burns I have a few more doubts with his technique but I would not be considering dropping him for a good while. I think Sibley, Burns and Crawley need a proper go as the top 3 for a decent period. There is hardly anyone banging the door down at the moment.
Who you dropping to get that top 3? Pope?
Although you won't need to drop anyone. Cos we will go back to an ordinary top 7 with stokes hopefully back.

Then 2 spinners and 2 seamers to complete the 11
