You just can't help yourself, won't be long before you're banned again. The sad thing is genuine people on these boards have tried to help and support you, but more and more members are realising what a nasty piece of work you are. Back on ignore you go.

Mate some of the things you have sent to me, you'd be permanently banned if I did the screenshots. Cya later.

went on a forum you dont even use to abuse me

I've had him on permanent ignore for 2 years. Gets himself in a massive rut with other posters over fuck all. Express a cricketing opinion and he reacts like you'd just called his mam a whore.

Aussie, axe to grind, knows fuck all about wicket keeping etc
Unfortunately he isn't wrong mind.

We absolutely cannot go to the subcontinent with Jos behind the sticks.

My thoughts on Bairstow are well known but I'd even be more comfortable with him as WK over there than Jos

Ben Foakes is the obvious answer.

Well yeah, I disagree with you and think Buttler’s performance in keeping has been taken out of proportion, in that one test he had a bad game granted, but imo it’s not as bad as some are making out.

However unlike the poster you talking about am not going to react over the top about it.

It’s just a opinion and different ones make this board interesting.

I thought that article was really unfair on one issue.

The bit where he said the keeper sets the tone for the fielding side and it’s no coincidence that England fielding is suffering too!

Now Buttler getting the blame for other players bad fielding as well!

Fair enough for the journalist to criticise him but he is not responsible for other people’s fielding mind!

DId I fuck, you can't even read

bang out of order there, bring up my issues, way below the belt. No need, straight on ignore after that.
All you had to do was apologise for insinuating he was a racist because he didn’t rate the West Indies that highly. Would never have even got to this stage if you’d done that weeks ago.

Absolutely. This is what was posted

“Its borderline worrying stuff your assumptions about west indies, I wont go there.”

that’s quite a clear insinuation, particularly the second sentence. The PM I got tried to say it’s not what he meant, but I didn’t dignify it with a response.

I'm sorry mate. I've always supported you on here but we were having a good debate about Jos (I share similar views to you actually) and you have just come out of nowhere, having not been on for ages full of aggression and completely spoiling the thread. I don't know whats got into you.

I don't have a massive problem with Buttler. I don't think he's a test quality keeper but he adds an additional dimension with his style of batting. He's usually good for 30-40 runs in the lower middle order whereas Bairstow, more often than not, chops on for nowt, with all the entitled attitude. I'd probably go Foakes in India with Buttler as specialist middle order batsman.

Either way I respect your opinion, which is kind of what Johnson/The Rat struggles with.

Yeah fair dos, I think Foakes seems to get better by not playing which sometimes happens, if he was performing better with the bat would have more of a case.

Personally I think Buttler is a good player of spin and would be good in India, don’t think he is the best keeper around, but also don’t he is as bad as some make out either.

But totally see your and others arguments just respectfully disagree :D

Ben Foakes: five Tests; one hundred, one fifty, average of 41, 10 catches and two stumpings.

Mental that he can't get a lookin.

More context needed. It did show he can play spin. Batting wise that is no sample particularly as he got his runs against the weakest pace attack in international cricket and his only tests that he has played in against a decent pace attack he averaged 13. Having a crap season last year with the bat also didn't help. Hes clearly a talented keeper but playing 3 consecutive tests in Sri Lanka is going to help you get a stumping.

Id argue that being able to keep well in SL actually shows that you are an exceptional keeper, so for me you can absolutely tick the box that says "best WK"

You're right about the quality of attack he has faced, but the only way we can have a wider sample size is actually giving him games.
And given Buttlers form with the bat from the winter of 2018 onwards, you cannot use runs/batting as the reason for selection, but Jos' stats make a mockery of that!
