I find it implausible that between Donald telling RAWA and the radio that no one is in talks and no one is in the data room, that a week later someone has been granted exclusivity.

I just struggle with the idea that you go from a standing start to exclusivity in a week. But maybe it doesn't take that much to get there. They would certainly be aware of the asking price.

To me that would point to someone returning to the process. Just doesn't sound right though.
 
If all the ITK info is broadly correct, I'd guess Donald has kept Grays lot hanging on as a backup. Then as the deal progresses with a preferred party, he can start to be a bit of a dick and push them back

Methven and Donald probably thought Sunderland was in Scotland before this money making opportunity flashed in front of his eyes. That part on STID when Methven was spouting on about the Sunderland “loyalty” just wound me up.
My Mrs (no) gave me a yellow for persistent bad language in front of the kids.

It's got to be someone already involved, that means it's either massive lie or it's FPP sartori or all of them in some weird billionaire avengers crime fighting team.

But would you find it plausible that Donald wasn't being entirely honest when he spoke to RAWA anout no-one being in the data room.
That's the trouble with liars, you never can tell when they are telling the truth

It's a nice place to go if you want to keep up on the Sunderland news but have a bit of a headache. A lot of the noise (wums) is filtered out.

I'm happy to take it at face value, if it doesn't come off then no harm done. Not sure how often random billionaires go into business together mind, but perhaps Sartori and Fuhrman have got to know each other over the last 12 months. It would be an advantage for Fuhrman to have someone with an inside track into the club. Complete speculation on who Sartori could bring in but talk of a billionaire, it's not a stretch to suggest it might be Rybolovlev. Having someone on board with 10 years experience in European football is surely appealing to an American billionaire as well.

Yeah. I was going to add that somewhere along the line someone has been telling porkies.
 
Donald ‘desperate to leave’ iirc.

The f***ing crook thinks he’s doing a good job & for his own ego he won’t go till he takes us up.

Surely this salary cap means he can afford to keep us and actually make money so long as the crowds are allowed back in? He also has an excuse for not strengthening the squad.
