Aye, if (fingers crossed) it goes through, it's likely to be near the start of the season/ end of the window. It would be quite an upheaval to get rid of Parkinson and find a new manager, especially when they'd likely have most of his players to use. Might as well give Parkinson the start of the season with the clear remit of "have us looking good for promotion or you're out before Christmas"

Lets hope they don't push it too far that they end up walking away as rubberface suggests.Probably important to note that rubberface is just getting info about that specific group, whereas you get info about a lot more aspects regarding the club. Not trying to give any sources away or owt but just for people wondering why your info is a bit different. I believe the people rubberface is heading info from are probably being told things that aren't quite true as they're trying to pressurise them over the issues that remain. You'll likely be hearing a more truthful account as you'll be hearing the actual version. If you're happy that the issues aren't big enough to scupper the deal then I'm happy, that might not be what they're telling the people that rubberface knows, but they've got their own reasons for doing that. Just read this back, probably doesn't make sense at all

Thats what I'd do too, just because of the timing. Unless my preferred candidate was available now and likely go elsewhere if I didn't act fast.
In that case bring them in and do an overhaul in January once they've assessed the squad.
