If Gray's consortium have offered SD the money, then I'm surprised SD hasn't taken it and ran! It wasn't long ago that Gray said the asking price was too much and that it was a no go for them so I wonder whats changed.

Saying that, I'm just assuming that it is Gray and his backers when it could be someone else.

If Storey has made a bid and had received acknowledgement from the club of said bid, there's absolutely no requirement for a NDA unless either party requires that at that stage AND it is agreed.

As for not being able to deny being in talks with Storey because of a NDA with a third party that would be highly unusual to say the least but would depend on the terms of the NDA.

Well the person saying this does M&A for a living, so worth listening to.

If Storey's bid was credible in any way Donald would be happy to keep that pretence up, and yet he's quashing it via club sources, which makes no sense.

Anyway, I've said my bit, I think one thing that is mildly encouraging is that Donald is being semi-professional about Storey, which indicates he might actually be genuinely in talks with someone else.

Knew this would happen straight after the fans groups grouped together to get him out last season, then he released that statement leading up to the January window when it was summat like significant funds were going to be made available but now I've thrown me toys out the pram it'll just be substantial funds.
He's like a lass man, storming off in a huff and deleting his Twitter account (twice).

Thing is though, Gray has been critical of Donald from pretty much day 1.

Donald knows the potential of the club, and the future worth / value should someone come in and succeed where he has failed miserably.

His pettiness and stubbornness will be going through the roof at the thought of Gray being the head of the group that succeeds where he has failed, and it appears he is digging his heels in through sheer spite and not wanting to give Gray that opportunity

I disagree, but as you say we've both had our say.

Got to question the legitimacy of any buying party if they’re willing to pay Donald’s ridiculous asking price
