If they convince donald he can just keep the parachute money and they keep the fpp loan the asking price should in theory come down a lot

Gosh they drive a hard bargain :D Donald would probably pipe them off for this deal.
Sorry mate. I hope it all ends well but I don't care anymore.

Wife had a miscarriage at 10.20 this morning.

Bad craic. Been there, it gets better, look after her and yourself.

Well if thats the case as long as they have decent backing would be nice to have people running the club that genuinely care about it and the fans.
Why are some relying on the press month after month these so called local and national press stood back while our club was being destroyed
by SD &CM it took the fans to bring it to their attention before they redacted. Hunter and co tell us Storey has been told to do one why don't they do their job and investigate and find out the truth and not spin.

If Gray's consortium have offered SD the money, then I'm surprised SD hasn't taken it and ran! It wasn't long ago that Gray said the asking price was too much and that it was a no go for them so I wonder whats changed.

Saying that, I'm just assuming that it is Gray and his backers when it could be someone else.
No ones going to give Donald what he’s asking for and if he’s the stumbling block as he allegedly was regarding the FPP deal, he really needs calling out by those who want to move us forward.
Donald should think himself lucky if he walks away not having lost anything.
All the questions about allegedly using the parachute money to buy the club, all the stuff about finding money behind the sofa and the comment that FPP’s loan meant they were investing in him and not SAFC as such need remembering.
We are in such a sorry state just now, any takeover or major investment has got to be right or we will be well and truly be further up shit creek without a paddle than we are right now.

Thing is though, Gray has been critical of Donald from pretty much day 1.

Donald knows the potential of the club, and the future worth / value should someone come in and succeed where he has failed miserably.

His pettiness and stubbornness will be going through the roof at the thought of Gray being the head of the group that succeeds where he has failed, and it appears he is digging his heels in through sheer spite and not wanting to give Gray that opportunity

Mind if it's as difficult a job as Donald has made it look, he should be revelling in the opportunity to hand it over to someone he doesn't like.
