Don't think him personally has the money to put in, I think he is just like Niall Quinn when he fronted the takeover but Niall didn't put any money in but he stayed on at the club. Whoever is backing Storey has money, it's whether they are good enough to take us forward nobody knows yet.

It's not a mutually exclusive either/or- he can say he's put in a bid or that he's "ready to do a deal" (his two responses) and the club can say they don't view him as credible buyer (the initial tweet from Hunter). Doesn't mean either is lying

Said exactly this yesterday - they both know they can say whatever they want because the speed the news cycle turns, very few people go back and fact check the old stuff once the story has changed, and even if they do, most people have moved on and don't care or they can just say something else to derail things again by shouting squirrel - it's all about saying stuff in the moment for them because they know there's little or no accountability
