So for the next World Cup qualifying I think England get 20 points and Ireland 10

everybody plays everyone over three odi series. 10 points a win

top seven plus India as hosts qualify.

Could and should have got close to 400 but got careless then the bowling didn't function as it has previously (i.e. Willey didn't take 4 wickets in 6 overs).

Early days in world cup qualifying but losing to an Ireland team who aren't great could be costly.

Looked rudderless until the last ten overs or so when it was far too late. Run in, bowl and hope for a mistake seemed to be the plan

Ancient. 37 by the next World Cup. if this squad is in place for the Pakistan odis we may be struggling from the off to qualify for 2023 world cup

with this Covid bubble thing, thinking about it Vince will probably be playing in those, while the test lads won’t be getting a game

So, are none of the test players eligible for the ODIs vs Pakistan? (and equally, if their test players are in the same bubble, are the Pakistan test side also in the same situation?)

Should never be losing to Ireland, even without a full strength team. Chuffed for Banton though.

Think we’d have to fuck up massively not to qualify mind. Think the top 8 plus India go through then there’s play offs For those that miss out that way
