North East Durham and Durham league merger

DCL voted for Division 3 to win/lose/draw which I think seems sensible. The rest of the divisions as mentioned above.

Hopefully all parties can ensure this goes through, there’s got to be give and take, not all take take take
Think the votes from both leagues are added together to decide the final format. NEDCL was 11 - 0 for division 3 being 45 win/lose. Wasnt sure of DCL results.

Wat will make up leagues 3,4,5 and 6?
3 will be top half dcl 3 and top half nedcl 1
4 will bottom half dcl 3 and bottom half nedcl 1
5 will be top dcl 4 and top nedcl 2
6 will be bottom dcl 4 and bottom nedcl 2

Sounds like a good development.

I sent in a Rule suggestion that Div 1 clubs should need a junior set up a few years down the line, to stop sides just buying their way up the system.

Things are starting to move on.
Divisions 1 & 2 win/lose/draw
Divisions 3, 4 & 5 win/lose 45 overs
Division 6 win/lose 40 overs

Each division will have a cup, first teams and second teams will have a cup. Potentially a NEDCL invitational trophy.

Fines and payments all now set I've heard.

Now just the rulebook to combine, so guessing it'll happen in 2025.

Is this happening next year?
