You know as well as do the decision rightly or wrongly has been made to accommodate more seamers, and not to reward Jos with a promotion ,yet once again is used to have a go at one of the most talented cricketers in the country.

I totally get and understand the argument and think it fair enough that he has not cut it at test level and totally understand the argument to now drop him.

But what I totally don’t get is the constant little piss taking jibes almost constantly from some posters.

I can’t get it why we are not really disappointing that someone with as much talent as Buttler has failed to translate his one day game to the test level, instead we seem to be taking the piss out of him!

Once in a generation player! Slogger no! Just a fantastic player who adapts his game to the situation.

I agree. I'm just saying Ed Smith championed him as bringing his white ball game to the test arena which hes rarely done.

Yet sticking a bloke at 6 when that's a proper batsman role is not suitable for the above. Factor in the 7 has a better red ball record at county level.

Well that was aimed at his ability in the one day game as a finisher assessing the wicket and batting accordingly to the situation and not just a slogger.

However of course I have to agree I am a big fan of him and disappointed at his test form and like I said in the post you quoted that agree time has probably come to drop him.

But my point is can’t understand the piss taking jibes?

Think you need to get a sense of humour about ol' Jos.

Sibbo got a higher score than Jos has ever hit last week to set up a win, and you moaned at the scoring rate. He has double the number of centuries in 8 games to Jos' 43.
