Not taking him to Australia is still just utter nonsense.

We'd have still probably got beat but he carries the side on his back when things are sliding.
Still bemused he is 4th choice bowler tbh, unless they want to rest him.

Ahh, tricky time though,. If he'd been found guilty and we'd let him play etc etc

It's in the past. Let's look forward to seeing what he can do next year down under.....
 
Not convinced by Ali at all
his record speaks for itself Australia aside, Root likes him and he's the only spinner the last few years who's looked even remotely like a match winner on a 5th day pitch.
i think Leach is the better spinner in terms of control and is a left armer but Ali is the one who gets wickets with the odd magic ball
